Mangrove seedlings planted in Oman

Muscat: 1,000 mangrove seedlings have been planted in Khor Al Qurim, in the Wilayat of Al Musannah.

The Ministry of Environment said: "With the aim of increasing mangrove forest area and increasing the biodiversity of marine organisms, the Environment Department in Al Batinah South Governorate, in coordination with the Marine Environment Conservation Department at the Authority, planted 1,000 mangrove seedlings in Khor Al Qurim in the Wilayat of Al Musannah."
