Ministry of Health issues clarification on treatments costs for citizens

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH), has issued a clarification regarding fees imposed for providing some treatment and surgical services to citizens.

A statement issued online by MOH said, "The Ministry of Health would like to warn that what is circulating on some social media platforms is untrue,  regarding the Ministry imposing fees for providing some treatment and surgical services to citizens."

"There was some distortion from a decision issued by the Ministry of Labour regarding expats who are on contract with the government," the statement added.

"The Ministry of Health invites everyone to obtain information from its official sources." the statement added
