More than 1,000 kilos of foodstuffs destroyed by Dhofar Municipality

More than 1,000 kilograms of foodstuffs were destroyed by Dhofar Municipality, after the agency conducted an inspection of stores in the governorate.

In a statement released online, Dhofar Municipality said, "The Municipality of Dhofar destroyed about 1,236 kg of various foodstuffs unfit for human consumption, as well as about 3,615 liters of soft drinks, juices and drinking water.
 

The statement added that this was done after communicating the same to the products' relevant companies, and coordinating with inspectors of the municipality's Food Control Department.
