Municipality shuts down restaurant, barber shop in Muscat

Municipal authorities have closed down a number of shops, including a barber shop and a restaurant, for not renewing their commercial licenses.

"The field follow-up department of Muscat Municipality in Seeb has closed down a number of shops in Al Khoud and Al Jafnin for non-renewal of commercial licenses, which violates municipal laws and regulations," an official from Muscat Municipality stated.

The stores were fined OMR200 and temporarily shut, until their licenses are renewed.
