This information will form a comprehensive database for the government. Authorities will use it when preparing programmes related to accessible public services. Proper accessibility requires much more than simply installing a single ramp. An assessment considers routes from parking areas and public transport stops.

Inspectors review entrances, corridors, lifts, stairs, toilets, and informational signs. They judge the ability of a person to move through a facility independently. A structured survey highlights where access works and where actual barriers remain.
