Muscat Festival Star From January 18 to February 10

This year the two festival venues - Amerat Park and Naseem Gardens - focused on different aspects to wow visitors. Amerat Park, like every year, showcased Omani culture and heritage. Local cuisines like rakhal, the popular Omani bread, sweet dumplings, boiled chickpeas and poori (fried flat bread) were a great hit among visitors.

Apart from fun rides, Naseem Gardens saw a Tropical Rainforest with varied plant collections and waterways. Children’s theatre and consumer exhibition were other highlights at the venue.

Mohammed Irfan, accounts manager, Seerabeece for Exhibition and International Festivals, the firm that will manage fun rides at Naseem Gardens, said, “The usual rides will be there but we are planning to add some new ones as well.”
