Muscat Municipality removes neglected vehicles from Al Sarouj area
The capital's municipal agency has begun towing abandoned and illegally parked vehicles from public areas, the authority announced online.
"Muscat Municipality (MM) in Bausher removes abandoned cars in the streets and public places in Qurum, near the Al Sarooj area," MM said in tweet.

The agency added that it was also removing vehicles being used to sell livestock at undesignated areas. "Muscat Municipality in Seeb, in cooperation with Royal Oman Police, carried out the judicial ruling on removing livestock selling vehicles in South Mabella, for vehicle owners not complying with municipality order to only sell at the equipped barns allocated by the municipality in the central slaughterhouse," MM announced.
