National Youth Day Held to Celebrate Achievements

The Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Recreation in Salalah which represent the he Sultanate celebrated at the Omani Youth Day with the support of the National Commission for Youth.

The celebration was conducted under the patronage of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, Chairman of the Public Authority for Radio and TV, Chairman of the State Council and a number of officials. From the belief of the importance of youth and wise leadership for the present and future stemmed the idea of the day for Omani youth.

The National Commission for Youth implements 15 projects categorised under 5 strategic programmes to promote loyalty, economic empowerment,developing youth sector, promoting citizenship,enhancing youth participation and developing youths’ capabilities.
