The Women’s Futsal League competitions for the 2026/2027 sports season are underway. Nine clubs are actively participating in this exciting national sporting event. Matches are currently taking place at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher. Participating clubs include Al Shabab, Salalah, Quriyat, Al Amerat, Fanja, Saham, Sohar, Al Bashair, and Masirah. The teams compete strictly according to the approved system for the tournament. The first day of the opening round produced some very exciting results. Al-Shabab and Salalah played to a highly competitive 1-1 draw on the court.

Meanwhile, Quriyat secured a strong 4-2 victory over the Al-Amerat squad. The league represents a vital milestone in development programs for women's football in Oman.
