Oman Armed Forces Chief Hosts Algerian Military Official

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi welcomed an Algerian military official today. Al Raisi serves as the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces.

He hosted Lieutenant General Said Chengriha at his office in Al Murtafa’a Camp. Chengriha leads the People’s National Army of Algeria.

He currently visits the Sultanate of Oman alongside his official delegation.

Official Reception Ceremony

The Sultan’s Armed Forces held a formal reception ceremony for the visiting guest. An honor guard performed the traditional military salute upon his arrival.

A military band played a beautiful salute of honor for the delegation. Chengriha then inspected the honor guard carefully.

Discussing Common Military Interests

Al Raisi officially welcomed the Algerian guest to the Sultanate. The two military leaders exchanged views during their productive meeting.

They discussed several important military topics and mutual defense strategies. They explored ways to enhance military cooperation to serve common interests.

The Algerian Ambassador to Oman also attended this high-level meeting.
