Oman Based Indian Expats to Get Voting Rights

As the government of India has decided to give them proxy voting rights,in the next Indian polls, twenty five million non-resident Indians spread across the world will be able to cast their vote.

In Oman, around 670,000 Indians works here. To carry out the exercise 12 weeks has been given to the government by the top court.

Finally, to take necessary steps to amend the law for NRI voters has been the recommendation that the government of India had got from the Election Commission of India.
