Oman continues to support flood-affected in Sudan

Muscat: The Sultanate has continued its support for those affected by torrential rains in the Republic of Sudan.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, (ONA), said: "The Sultanate, represented by the Omani Authority for Charitable Activities, continues its support for those affected in the sisterly Republic of Sudan, due to the floods that it was exposed to as a result of the torrential rains recently.”

“The Authority has provided relief to the affected people in the areas of Goz Naseer, Birkat Al Shati, Sulaymaniyah and the Nile District in the southern countryside of Omdurman locality, with tents in the presence of the Sultanate’s Ambassador and a delegation from the authority,” the statement added.
