Omani diplomats focused heavily on Middle East peace and global humanitarian reform.

The Sultanate of Oman maintained a highly active diplomatic presence in New York this week. Omani officials participated in multiple crucial events during the 81st UN General Assembly. They joined the high-level ministerial meeting of the Global Alliance for the Two-State Solution. Saudi Arabia, Norway, and the European Union co-chaired this important diplomatic gathering.

Counselor Khalid bin Saleh Al-Rabhkhi represented the Sultanate of Oman at this meeting. He serves as the Deputy Permanent Representative of Oman to the United Nations.
