Oman Expects Massive 8,000 Ton Wheat Harvest in Dhofar
Farmers in the Dhofar Governorate just started their annual wheat harvest. They expect to collect 8,000 tons of wheat this season.
Agricultural teams actively supervise these massive harvesting activities across Al Najd.
Massive Agricultural Operations
Local farmers planted wheat across 6,408 acres of fertile land recently. These impressive agricultural operations span 51 different local farms.
The government strongly supports this vital local food production effort.
Government Support for Farmers
The Ministry of Agriculture provides excellent resources to local farmers. Officials supply subsidized wheat seeds to help jumpstart the planting season.
The ministry also provides free harvesting machines to all participating farmers. Government workers coordinate the final crop collection operations very carefully.
They work directly with the Oman Flour Mills Company during this phase. This strong teamwork ensures a successful harvest for everyone involved.
