Oman government condemned a terror attack in Pakistan

Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned a terror attack in Pakistan.

"The Sultanate of Oman strongly condemns the terrorist bombing that targeted a police truck in the southwestern city of Quetta and has led to a large number of deaths and injuries," the ministry said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Sultanate’s unchanging and long-standing rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism.

The statement also expressed the condolences of the Sultanate to the families of the victims and the friendly government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It wished a quick recovery to all those who were wounded.

A suicide bomber had rammed a car into a police truck in the southwestern city of Quetta on Wednesday, killing five police officials and two passers-by, police said.
