Oman Government: Prophet’s birthday holiday declared in Oman

Government has announced: The date of the holiday to mark the prophet Muhammed's birthday will be december 5,

Earlier, it was announced that the national Day public holidays for all public and oprivate sector workers would be on december 3 and 4, making the combined days off a 5-day break for most.

Tuesday, 5 December 2017 official leave for employees in ministries and public authorities and other units of the administrative apparatus of the State on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad., the country's official news agency reported.
