Omani Authorities Issue Heavy Thunderstorm Alert for Several Governorates

The Omani Meteorological Authority just issued an official weather alert. Heavy thunderstorms and cumulonimbus clouds are rapidly approaching the Sultanate.

Experts expect these heavy storms to directly affect Al Dhahirah and Al Wusta governorates. Active thunderstorms are already occurring in North and South Sharqiyah.

Parts of Muscat governorate are also experiencing these active storms. Meanwhile, cloudy weather currently covers most governorates across the country.
