Omani Filmmaker Honored with Award for Peace in South Korea

Oman’s  filmmaker Sultan Al Abdali who represented the Sultanate has won the award as the Peace Messenger at the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) in Seoul, South Korea attended by participants from different countries.

A variety of projects is carried out by the renowned IPYG annually to promote world peace. The 3rd Annual Commemoration of WARP Summit  conference was conducted to debate on enacting international laws to prevent wars.

Above 800 organisations in 110 countries around the globe participate in the IPYG which includes ‘Peace Walk’ which encourages  people to promote peace at an international level.

In the experience of Al Abdali, he had his own insights that there a large number of people who yearn for world peace like him despite the presence of certain hidden agendas to fight this plot but with combined effort, this goal could be achieved in a great manner.

Finally, in his words, the global youth should come under one roof by keeping aside factors like nationality, race, religion and so on to achieve world peace.
