Omani woman was injured in a car accident on Muscat road

A 39-year-old Omani woman was injured in a car accident on the Qurum Heights Road.

The woman's car collided with a concrete barrier on Qurum-Darsait road opposite the Cave restaurant around 2pm on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP) the woman was taken to Khoula hospital with moderate injuries.

"A spot of oil was left on the road after the accident, and it has been reported to Muscat Municipality. Traffic is slow but moving," an official from Royal Oman Police said.
