One killed, another injured as fire breaks out in house in Al Azaiba, Muscat

One person was killed and another injured when fire broke out in a house in Al Azaiba, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said in a Tweet.

"The fire brigades extinguished a fire in a house in Al Azaiba, which led to the death of one person and wounding another with moderate injuries," PACDA tweeted.
 

A number of other fire incidents occurred this month. Two people were injured while trying to escape a fire in a building in Al Khoud in Al Seeb Market and a car fire left two people injured while two shops were damaged in a fire.

In Barka, firefighters rescued five people who were trapped in a burning residential building, and in Mabela two people were hospitalised after a gas explosion.
