One person was injured after a residential building Fire in Oman

One person was injured after a residential building in Muttrah's Wadi Kabir area caught fire, Oman's rescue authority said.

A statement from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) reported that there was preliminary information about people trapped in the building, with fire engines and ambulances present on site.

"Fire brigades were able to control and extinguish the fire. One minor injury was caused by the fire, and emergency medical care was provided on site. Minor damages were caused to the building," the statement added.
