Opportunity for Students in Oman to Study in Ireland

For Students in Oman, there would be new opportunities to study in Ireland owing to the exchange programmes for further studies.

One of Ireland’s oldest institutions, the Trinity College, part of the University of Dublin,, is plans to establish partnerships with universities in Oman.

 

The representatives of the Majan College, Muscat University and Sultan Qaboos University held a meeting with the provost of Trinity College Mr. Patrick Prendergast for establishing long term agreements with the former three bodies.

To attract the best students from Oman, the the University of Dublin is offering a wide range of course to choose from in the Trinity College.

Being located in the centre of a thriving European capital city, the trinity is an old university  with great links with industry and other university.  In the past three years, the number of entrepreneurs produced by Trinity was more than any in Europe. Except architecture and veterinary, everything else is taught in the university. The University has the world's oldest German department and in all of Ireland and Britain,  it was the first university to teach engineering..

Finally, with the recent diversification of economy with the initiatives like Tanfeedh has been the priority  of Oman, the quality of education offered in Ireland would benefit the students in the country.
