Over 60 projects qualify for TRC’s Upgrade programme in Oman

More than 60 projects have qualified for the second phase of the programme to convert graduation projects to startups, the Research Council (TRC), announced.

The statement issued online by TRC: "The 'Upgrade' programme of transforming graduation projects to startups in the information and communication technology sector (ICT) in its fourth edition has announced the qualification of 64 projects, with the participation of 164 students."

TRC also said: "In the first phase of the fourth edition of the Upgrade programme, 75 entries were presented by 19 academic institutions from Oman and one participation from abroad. "

TRC confirmed that : "The registration for the programme began in March 2020. The registration was open to academic institutions, students, researchers and innovators."
