PACDA organises blood donation drive in Oman

Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance(PACDA), organised a blood donation drive today.


A statement issued online by PACDA said: "The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance, in cooperation with the Blood Bank Services Department of the Ministry of Health, organized on October 27, 2020 a blood donation drive in the Authority’s building at the airport heights in the Governorate of Muscat.The initiative of the authority and its members is part of the social and humanitarian responsibility to donate blood to the sick and injured."


"It is noteworthy that the health aspects related to Covid 19 were taken into consideration while donating blood, such as physical spacing, wearing a mask and examining the temperature, in order to preserve the safety of donors from infection." the statement added.
