Poachers held in Oman

 Six people have been arrested for illegally hunting protected Arabian gazelles, officials have announced.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs, in collaboration with the Environment Conservation Office, and wildlife observers in Muscat, were able to arrest six people who were illegally hunting. 

The individuals allegedly hunted four gazelles, and a number of wild birds in the area of Yiti.
