Rescue on for people trapped under rubble after landslide in Oman

A number of people are trapped under rubble after a mountainside collapsed on them in Nizwa, according to rescue officials.

A statement from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said, "A report of the collapse of part of a mountain in the province of Nizwa in Tawi city, with preliminary information indicating the presence of people trapped. Rescue teams are on the site, more updates later."
