Omani residents has been prioritising on quality while buying building materials as next year a turnaround is expected in Oman construction sector.

Italian tiles and marbles which are part of the important building materials has their cost nearly doubled in comparison to the similar products from other countries as buyers have growing interest witnessed during recent times. Certain experts believe that this has happened due to the awareness spread regarding the positives of quality products.

For the past few years, the market has been on the slower side but it is expected to recover next year.
