SalamAir announces first direct flight to Shiraz from Muscat
SalamAir has announced the launch of its first destination in Iran. Starting February 28th 2018, Oman’s budget airline will operate two weekly flights to Shiraz with ticket fares as low as OMR 80 (Return). Guests can now book directly on www.SalamAir.com.

“Despite its increasing popularity as a medical and tourism destination, Shiraz has remained an underserved route for years with no direct flights from Muscat,” highlighted Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir. “In response to public demand, we have made it a priority in our 2018 plans and are confident that our guests will enjoy our affordable prices and convenient timings.”

SalamAir will be operating flights to Iran’s third largest city every Sunday and Wednesday departing from Muscat at (12:50) and arriving in Shiraz International Airport at (13:50). In addition to Shiraz, the SalamAir network today consists of 9 destinations including Muscat, Salalah, Suhar, Dubai, Doha, Jeddah, Karachi, Multan and Sialkot.
