Saudi Arabia Celebrates 96th National Day Alongside Strong Omani Ties

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates its ninety-sixth National Day soon. The annual celebration takes place on September 23. The Kingdom has achieved significant milestones under King Salman bin Abdulaziz. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also leads the nation toward growth. Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its regional and international presence.

Deep Fraternal Relations Connect Two Nations

The country experiences diversified economic growth and expanded investment bases. The Sultanate of Oman shares deep fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia. These ties rely on the shared vision of both leaderships. The two nations partner across political, economic, and cultural fields. Trade between the countries reached 2.47 billion Omani riyals in 2025.

The first half of 2026 saw 1.08 billion riyals in trade. Saudi Ambassador Ibrahim bin Saad bin Bishan highlighted these achievements. He noted the National Day slogan is "Our Pride is in Our Nature." This motto reflects authentic values like generosity, courage, and ambition. The Kingdom has witnessed major transformations in economic development recently.

Expanding Bilateral Trade And Tourism

The government empowers the private sector and invests in human capital. Oman and Saudi Arabia collaborate closely on future-oriented sectors. The Empty Quarter land crossing significantly boosted bilateral trade movement. This crossing opened in 2021 to facilitate direct overland transit. Oman remains a top tourist destination for Saudi families today.

The two nations look forward to greater economic integration. Saudi Arabia will host Expo 2030 and the 2034 World Cup. These events will enhance the Kingdom's presence in the global economy. Oman signed a participation contract for Expo Riyadh 2030 in September. This participation builds new bridges for cultural and economic exchange.
