Shabab II to have a Reception after its Voyage to Europe

To welcome the return of the RNOV “Shabab Oman II”, The Royal Navy will have an official

reception hosted at the Sultan Qaboos Port on Monday after its voyage to Europe themed “Friendship and Peace Sail”. It had sailed to Europe from the Said Bin Sultan Naval Base on 30th April 2017.

The Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs will be the patron of the official reception.

Several awards and advanced positions like the Best Ship Crew Award, the Best Marine Vessel Award and the Sailing Award were won by the sail.

Finally, apart from taking part in many international activities and festivals, quite a few mobile exhibitions were also held on the RNOV "Shabab Oman II" while anchoring at scheduled destinations.
