Sohar Airport to receive first Qatar airways flight today

Qatar Airways’ inaugural flight on the Doha-Sohar sector will arrive at Sohar Airport on Tuesday.

Qatar Airways will be the third airline to operate from Sohar Airport and the second international airline after Air Arabia, which started its Sohar operations on July 9.

The airline had announced beginning July about its inaugural flight to Sohar from Doha.

“Joining Qatar Airways’ global network are: Sohar, Sultanate of Oman, which will launch on August 8; and Prague, Czech Republic, which will launch on August 21,” the airline had stated.

The airline had confirmed the start of its new service between Doha and Sohar with three weekly flights.
