South Al Batinah Launches Major Climate Awareness Campaign

South Al Batinah Governorate launched a massive national awareness campaign today. Officials want to educate the public about climatic conditions and tsunamis.

Organizers chose "Your awareness is for your safety" as the campaign slogan.

Governor Masoud bin Saeed Al Hashimi sponsored the important safety event. The Civil Aviation Authority runs the campaign alongside national emergency committees.

They want to enhance public awareness regarding early warning systems. The campaign provides comprehensive guidance on proper emergency response procedures.

Governor Al Hashimi emphasized proactive planning for severe climate phenomena. He said community awareness represents the first line of defense.

Interactive Field Training

Colonel Zayed bin Hamad Al Junaibi heads the National Emergency Management Center. He stressed the importance of institutional integration and community partnership.

The campaign features helpful seminars, lectures, and live evacuation exercises. Experts teach safe behaviors for before, during, and after severe weather.
