Sultan Haitham Issues Royal Decree for Oman-Belarus Committee
Sultan Haitham bin Tariq issued a new Royal Decree today. The official decree ratifies an important international agreement.
Oman and Belarus will establish a joint cooperation committee soon.

Royal Decree Number 45 for 2026 outlines these new rules. The agreement creates a special joint committee for bilateral investment.
Diplomats originally signed this initial agreement last year. They finalized the official paperwork in Minsk on May 19, 2025.

Official Gazette Publication
The government will publish this decree in the Official Gazette. The new rules take effect immediately upon their official publication.
The Sultan issued this decree on 17 Shawwal 1447 AH. This Hijri date corresponds to April 5, 2026.
