The patients families wing to be ready in Sultan Qaboos University Hospital soon

From the mid-2018, the  Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH) would have its  new accommodation wing that accommodates the families of long-stay patients.

The MB Foundation, the charity arm of MB Holding Company LLC has gifted the new building to  the SQUH. The Chairman of MB holding Company LLC had donated the building at a cost of OMR1 million. The building is built mainly for patients with low income and who are on social insurance and has been under construction for the past two years.

The building is for patients in SQUH who live far away from the hospital like the chemotherapy patients. There are 40 apartments with single and double bedroom apartments in them.

Since its establishment in 2011, the MB Foundation has been running projects for social development. The main aim is to commit towards supporting others by giving back to the communities and societies by working on sustainable projects.
