The Public Authority for Stores and Food Reserve (PASFR) has also indicated that it is monitoring the prices of basic food commodities and checking if there is any abnormal movement in the prices. PASFR stated that the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the prices of global food commodities is relatively small.
