Two men died after drowning at sea near Sohar

 Two men died after drowning at sea near Sohar, rescue authorities in Oman announced.

According to a statement from the Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA), the agency "received a report stating that two Omanis were missing at sea in Majees, in the Wilayat of Sohar", with rescue services responding to the call immediately.
 

However, PACDA later said that the victims had died before they could be rescued.
