Urgent appeal for blood donation made in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has appealed urgently for people to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

A statement issued online by the DBBS said: "The levels of blood groups at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar today indicate a decrease in most blood groups. Help us meet patients' need for blood units."

"The blood donation times, from Saturday to Thursday, are from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement added.
