Weather update: Rain, cloudy skies predicted for Oman

Cloudy and overcast skies have been predictied for most of the Sultanate on Saturday, with isolated rainfall to be expected in some parts too, according to a weather report from Oman's Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).

"Muscat and SAhar will see a temperature of around 23 degree Celcius, while it will be 25 degrees in Sur, Haima and Rustaq," PACA's forecast said, adding that high and moderate-level couds are currently passing over the country.

Along most of the coastal areas, winds will be north-easterly while over the rest of the Sultanate wind will be northwesterly light to moderate, with maximum wave height of 2.5 metres along most of the coastal areas.
