Winds likely to cause dust storms in parts of Oman

South west wind activity is likely to cause dust to rise in the Governorates of Al Wusta and Dhofar.

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) issued a warning online which said, "Notification, Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates will witness active South-western winds causing dust to rise."

"Some meteorological stations, Haima, Zaymayem and Dukum, recorded wind speeds exceeding 20 knots," PACA added.
