Oman Signs 24 Massive Investment Agreements on Logistics Day

Oman celebrated Logistics Day with massive new investment announcements today. The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology organized the event.

Minister of Commerce Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri sponsored the ceremony. Officials announced 24 major investment agreements across various logistics sectors.

Forging New Global Logistics Partnerships

Thunder Logistics signed a 3.5 million Rial memorandum of understanding. They partnered with RTX Allianz from Uzbekistan for five years.

This deal enhances goods transportation between Uzbekistan and Oman. Companies also signed a memorandum to promote green transport solutions.

Oman and China will explore future mobility and sustainable transit options. Mowasalat and Shabak partnered to develop integrated first and last-mile networks.

This program creates feeder routes linking to public bus networks. Another agreement provides ship bunkering services at the Port of Duqm.

Transm and Holiday House Travel launched a special needs travel initiative. Asyad Group partnered with OHI Group to provide integrated logistics services.

Massive Sector Growth and Revenue

Logistics Director Engineer Abdullah bin Ali Al Busaidi delivered a speech. He said the logistics sector attracts massive foreign investments constantly.

The sector generated 2.35 billion Omani Rials in 2025. It registered a fantastic growth rate of 5.4 percent recently.

The Ministry targets 3 billion Omani Rials in revenue by 2026. Transport and storage investments reached 3.4 billion Rials last year.

Oman Post also launched beautiful Diamond Jubilee stamps during the ceremony. Officials also formally announced the Astoool and Marafi Services merger today.
