Traffic warning: Main road in Muscat to be closed this weekend

Municipal authorities in the capital have announced that they will be closing Qurum Bridge in the direction towards Seeb from today evening.

"Muscat Municipality would like to inform you that Al Qurum Bridge leading to Seeb will be completely closed from Thursday evening until Sunday dawn, March 11," the agency said, adding that the bridge will be opened on a rough milled asphalt surface, until the completion of pavement and other maintenance work.

Muscat Municipality added, "The bridge will be closed again on Sunday and Monday from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. The Municipality therefore urges everyone to take caution and abide by the traffic instructions at the site."
