Illegal BBQ vendors shut down by municipal authorities in Oman

Vendors selling barbecued food illegally are being shut down by Muscat Municipality, the agency said in a statement online.

A monitoring team from Muscat Municipality, along with Royal Oman Police "continued its field work to prevent encroachment on lawns, and control of street vendors", who were barbecuing and selling food without licenses in Al Ghubra and Al Azaiba.
 

Furthermore, municipal authorities also said they were actively working with the police to prevent vehicles and motorcycles from being driven on Al Sifa Beach, and to stop people from throwing waste and destroying public facilities on the beach.
