The Sultanate of Oman has participated in an emergency meeting of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers.

The meeting aims to consider the developments resulting from the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump of his country's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
 

The Omani delegation was headed by Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs.

The meeting discussed the Arab moves to be followed regarding the change in the American position that affects the Quds and its legal and historical status.
