GOAir to introduce daily flights from Mumbai to Muscat

Indian budget airline, GoAir, will commence operations from Mumbai to Muscat starting 19 July, 2019, with daily flights to connecting the two nations.

Earlier this year in March, the Muscat International Airport (MCT) welcomed GoAir’s inaugural flight from Kannur — in Kerala — from India. In less than six months, GoAir has launched daily Mumbai-Muscat flights, reinforcing the fact that the Indian subcontinent remains one of the most popular destinations for travellers departing from MCT.

India’s financial capital, Mumbai, is frequented by business leaders, executives, professionals, workers, film stars, sports stars et al.

Managing Director of GoAir, Jeh Wadia, said: “Our daily flight between Mumbai and Muscat is a manifestation of GoAir’s vision for the Middle East. Here we are, in less than six months, with a new route that symbolizes business and leisure and also reminds us the historically strong India – Oman relationship. GoAir is India’s fastest growing airline and Muscat is our 3rd international destination after Phuket and Male, and we are just increasing our connections. GoAir is delighted to work with Muscat International Airport. I welcome aboard passengers from Mumbai and Muscat on daily direct flight services. FlySmart, fly GoAir."

The Finance Manager of the Mezoon Travel Group, Nitin Pardeshi, said: “It gives immense pleasure to partner with GoAir in Oman. GoAir has been receiving overwhelming support from guests across Oman for its operations. We are really excited and pleased along with GoAir to introduce Mumbai as second destination for Goair in Oman and it also opens up more avenues to explore between the countries.”

GoAir is India’s fastest growing airline and it is committed to providing travellers value-for-money through the highest standards of customer service delivery and affordable airfares.

With its fleet of 50 Airbus A320 aircraft, the airline offers more than 270 daily flights and approximately 1,600 weekly flights across domestic and international destinations.
