Coronavirus: 800 citizens set to return to Oman from US and Canada

About 800 Omani citizens living in US and Canada have expressed their desire to return to the Sultanate, the embassy in Washington said on Saturday.

A statement issued online by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Washington said: “We have contacted several domestic and international airlines operating in US and Canada. After discussing several options, we have agreed with a commercial airline to operate two of its flights to Oman with about 800 citizens on Monday, March 30, 2020.”
