Coronavirus: Muscat Municipality waives parking fee

There will be no parking fees charged till further notice as the parking meters have been suspended by the Muscat Municipality.

This means that from now on, parking will be free of charge in Muscat.

The Municipality issued a statement online stating: "Due to the current situation, we would like to inform you that the parking meter systems have been suspended by Muscat Municipality. Therefore, the parking is without any fees until further notice."

The officials also called upon all the citizens and residents in the Sultanate to be safe and stay at home.
