Covid-19 : Health Ministry Issues Statement

The Ministry of Health has been following up reports in regional and international mass media stating that “some countries’ purchased invalid test-tubes to diagnose coronavirus (Covid-19) from China”. The Ministry also followed up reactions to these reports in the Sultanate.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Health here issued a statement today confirming that the Sultanate did not purchase the said products and that “all that the Sultanate imported from China were detectors and WHO-approved solutions whose results were verified against previously approved diagnostic results.
