Oman issues statement on Beirut explosion

The Sultanate has issued a statement about the explosions in Beirut, expressing its solidarity with Lebanon and the hope that the people of Lebanon will be able to overcome this ordeal.

In its statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "The Sultanate expresses its deep sorrow at the unfortunate explosions that took place at Beirut Port, and the Sultanate expresses its solidarity and standing with the Republic of Lebanon and its brotherly people."

"The Sultanate extends its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes for the speedy recovery of the wounded and the injured, and expresses its hope that Lebanon will overcome this painful ordeal and that peace will prevail throughout its territories, " MoFA added in the statement.
