Anushka Sharma has proved her mettle by choosing a variety of roles and delivering them with perfection. Her latest outing will see her torn and tormented in this twisted horror flick titled 'Pari'.

If the first look, posters and screamer teasers sent shivers down your spine, the trailer with all its jump-scares will have your heart pounding. After dropping multiple hints that Anushka's character might just be a tormented soul in this flick, the one-and-a-half minute trailer hints at a satanic undertone to this thriller. The makers of the film promised to push the horror genre in India to another level and it sure looks like they are living up to their word. The film marks the first time that a Bollywood A-lister has sought to give this genre its due. In a statement, co-producer Karnesh Sharma said, “Our endeavour is to push the envelope with every film that we make. With 'Pari', we are hoping to give to our discerning audience an experience in the horror genre that will hopefully stay with them for a while. The response to the posters and screamers has been very encouraging and we are now looking forward to its release.”
