Indian man found hanging from tree in Sharjah

Police are trying to investigate the reason behind the apparent suicide.

A 52-year-old Indian man has committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Muwailih area in Sharjah.

According to police, the body was spotted by a passerby, who immediately alerted the police control room.

A team of police and CID officials, and an ambulance, was immediately dispatched to the isolated site, where they found that the man had already died.

Initial investigations showed that the man had taken the drastic step of ending his own life.

Evidence was collected from the site and the body shifted to a forensic laboratory for more investigations.

Some people who were in touch with the deceased before his death are being questioned by the police to determine the reason behind the apparent suicide.
